Greenify – Does it Really Work?

Greenify help you identify and put the misbehaving apps into hibernation when you are not using them, to stop them from lagging your device and leeching the battery, in an unique way! They can do nothing without explicit launch by you or other apps, while still preserving full functionality when running in foreground, similar to iOS apps!

Have you heard of Greenify? Greenify is famous for claiming to make your device’s battery last longer by “hibernating” background apps to prevent them from using power.

Unfortunately I am not convinced that Greenify results in significant savings. Recently I’ve been split testing, one full charge with Greenify enabled vs one full charge with Greenify disabled, and I’ve noticed that the differences aren’t huge (maybe 6% max).

Of course, having an LG G2 means I am using one of the most battery efficient phones on the market to begin with, and therefore my savings may be limited…

So, what’s your experience with Greenify? Would you recommend it to others or do you think it’s just a placebo? Answer the poll below now!
